Altopack boasts a strong tradition of technology and innovation.
The company was founded in 1999 in Altopascio, near Lucca, and in just over twenty years it has become a key player in the food sector, achieving a leadership position in primary packaging.
In 2018, Altopack opened a branch in the heart of the Packaging Valley, in Borgo Panigale (Bologna), and later acquired Gammapack, a historic brand from Romagna, thus expanding its offering to include secondary packaging.
In 2021, the group further expanded with the launch of Cyborg Line, the team dedicated to the development of collaborative, interconnected humanoid robots: a project with vast applications in the packaging sector.
